The ANT2000 is typically used on the IWR-PORT and IWT-128 units when they are installed in non-metallic enclosures so that wireless transmission through the panel is not a problem.
The connection is an SMA male. Another application is to increase the range of WiFi enabled products such as routers and wireless bridges.
The ANT2000 has a gain of 5dBi giving it an excellent omni-directional performance in a very small package. It has a nominal 50 ohm impedance and a VSWR rating of <1.6.
